The Deathbringer has come. Your skill will determine if everyone you know survives.
What it is
The Gauntlet is a series of challenges designed for up to four parties comprised of up to six, 5th level characters. Each party will try to complete 4 of 8 randomly chosen scenarios to earn the right to advance to the arena.
The final stage
This final challenge will include all parties that have made it to that point, but only one team can achieve final victory... at the expense of the others.
Uniquely challenging
Only the well-balanced characters will survive. And it is fully possible that no team survives in the end. Enjoy building your character, but it is very possible they will fall at the hands of the encounter or their competitors.
Character Requirements
Pathfinder 1E rules
Level 5
Pathfinder Society Legal (not for credit)
(feats, races, archetypes, spells, etc)
No Alignment Restrictions
10,000gp starting gold
Must be submitted for approval in advance.
Be Prepared
Each team will receive a single-use talisman to send a single character to market. There will be a variety of randomly determined items available for purchase. Supplies are limited. First come, first serve.
Sabotage
While a portal only allows for a single person to go to the shop and return. Nothing says you have to return to your original party.
Honor and Glory Forever
The winning party will have their names inscribed on the traveling trophy and receive the well earned awe and respect of the community.
